Instead of a large collection of free and sponsored listings, the below listings are from camps that have invested in our guide and who we will be working closely with to provide you with the most up-to-date evolving information related to COVID protocols as we move into summer camp season. We’re grateful to these camps for working so hard to create a safe, fun summer experience for kids! Belmont Hill Summer School (Belmont)

Belmont Hill Summer School offers four-week, remote learning courses designed to position students for success in their upcoming school year. Boys & Girls from grades 6 - 12 can explore new subjects, hone skills, and gain valuable academic experience from expert faculty. *Ages: 11 - 18. Dates: July 6 - July 31. Boston Leadership Institute (Wellesley)

Boston Leadership Institute is an award-winning summer STEM program for teens. We offer one-week introductory and three-week competitive admission programs in Science, Engineering, Medicine, and Business. Day and residential options are available. Community Boating Junior Program (Boston)

Community Boating Junior Program gives children the opportunity to enjoy an active, fun-filled summer with the CBI Junior Program. Kids from all walks of life come to experience the joys of sailing while making lifelong friends. We offer additional opportunities for paddling, windsurfing, and even leadership development–all for an affordable fee (including financial aid as needed.)

COVID protocol notes: We pride ourselves on our ability to ensure a high degree of safety for all who come to sail with us. For 2021, our program will implement controls such as daily symptom screenings, mask and hygiene requirements. SummerQuest at the Crane Estate (Ipswich)

SummerQuest at the Crane Estate. Campers start their day with songs and games in morning circle then break into small groups to dive into theme-based activities. Every afternoon, campers enjoy swim time on a private beach, engage in creative craft projects, and play active games on the 2,100-acre Crane Estate, making this the ultimate summer adventure. *Ages: 4 - 14. Wizards & Warriors Summer Camp (Sturbridge)

Wizards & Warriors Summer Camp combines Live Action Role Playing with STEM education to give kids the opportunity to become heroes in their own stories. During their two-week camp sessions, campers suit up as their own unique characters and immerse themselves in the ongoing adventures of the fantasy world known as Sidleterra. Camper-heroes complete STEM lessons to earn strength points and magical abilities, which they’ll use to battle a range of monsters and save the day. *Ages: 8 - 18. The Putney School Summer Arts (Putney, VT)

The Putney School Summer Arts is a summer camp like no other. Over the course of four weeks, you’ll have dedicated and focused time every day to grow as an artist in a supportive community where you can truly be yourself. Whether you’re trying something for the first time or honing your craft, our faculty will be here to guide you on your individual path. The hive at deCordova Sculpture Park and Museum is an ideal atmosphere for young explorers to make connections to contemporary art, artists, nature, ideas, and to each other. Campers venture through deCordova’s Museum galleries, 30-acre Sculpture Park, and natural landscape to discover how artists use artistic, scientific, and social tools to explore ideas about self, community, and environment. *Ages: 5 - 12. The Minni Summer Program (Boston)

The Minni Summer Program offers ten individually themed weeks of art + design summer programming for little artists ages 4 - 9, beginning June 28 and running until September 3. To keep your artist engaged every summer, we rotate in new lessons for fresh content and vocabulary and get outside for daily outdoor art-making (weather permitting)! *Ages: 4 - 9. Hoop Brains (Unique) Basketball Camps. Get off your screens and into action! Half playing b-ball, half learning (about NBA statistics, debates, and psychology). Fun games meant for everyone except top players. Lexington Tennis Club Summer Camp (Lexington)

Lexington Tennis Club Summer Camp is launching a summer program for kids ages 7 and up to enjoy learning tennis from experienced professionals in a safe environment. With indoor, air-conditioned facilities, LTC’s summer camp will not be cancelled due to rain and will be comfortable even on very hot days. *Ages: 7+. Dates: June 21 - August 20. Pine Village Preschool Camp. At the Pine Village Summer Camp, we jump into Spanish Immersion on our adventure through Spanish-speaking countries and regions! Kidstock! Creative Theater (Winchester)

Kidstock! Creative Theater summer programs provide a variety of options, fun, and flexibility for kids, pre-teens, and teens to explore creative theater, develop acting skills in a low-pressure environment, and work together to create a fully staged show at the end of each session. Kids Crescendo at Powers Music School (Belmont)

Kids Crescendo at Powers Music School. For 1 or 2 weeks, kids can understand and experience music through movement, story, and song, with activities rooted in the popular Dalcroze Eurhythmics method of learning. They'll participate in live music, learn the basics of violin and keyboard, gain skills in singing and acting, and put it all together in a final themed performance! *Ages: 5 - 11. Dates: June 28 - July 30 (1 or 2 week sessions). Hours: 8:30 am - 1:00 pm (Session 1) or 8:30 am - 3:00 pm (Sessions 2 and 3). Rates: Summer Registration Fee: $15. COVID protocol notes: This year's program will have a smaller capacity and increased health and safety protocols to comply with all COVID-19 guidelines. All Kids Crescendo participants must present either a certificate of COVID vaccination, or a negative PCR test result at check-in on the first day of the program. For children under 10, a negative test or vaccination from a parent will be sufficient. Complete COVID guidelines will be shared with participants at least two weeks prior to the start of the program.

Mass Audubon Camps (18 MASSACHUSETTS Day Camps + 1 Overnight Camp in Rindge, NH)

Mass Audubon Camps. At Mass Audubon Camps, kids have fun, connect with nature, and make friends through outdoor exploration, hands-on activities, and noncompetitive games. Campers develop their interest in the outdoors while building confidence in nature and meeting other campers. *Ages: 4 - 17. Dates: vary by camp but generally run from June 21 - September 3. COVID protocol notes: The health and welfare of our campers and staff remains our highest priority. We feel confident that the success of Mass Audubon Camps in designing and offering a safe summer of camping in 2020 will guide us into another great summer in 2021. We will continue to stay informed and engaged with the work of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and the American Camp Association to ensure best practices with regard to staying safe as we move through the developing phases of the COVID-19 pandemic. We anticipate that we will continue to practice the wearing of masks, physical distancing, small group sizes, enhanced sanitizing protocols, and all other recommended health and safety guidelines. CODEMAKERS offers offers Python & Robotics Summer Camp with Marty the Robot for Grades 3-5 and Misty the Robot for Grades 6-8. We believe learning to code requires both an understanding of the conceptual frameworks of programming and attention to the detailed practice that generates desired outcomes. Wildwood Overnight Camp (Rindge, NH)              

Wildwood Overnight Camp is a special place where campers come together to discover and explore the natural world. Our campers roast s’mores over open fires, sleep under the stars, sing silly songs, paddle around Hubbard Pond, and fall in love with nature each day. Campers have fun as they explore the outdoors, make friends, and develop self-confidence and leadership skills that last a lifetime. *Ages: 7 - 17 (+ family camp). Dates: June 20 - August 29. COVID protocol notes: The health and welfare of our campers and staff remains our highest priority. We feel confident that the success of Mass Audubon Camps in designing and offering a safe summer of camping in 2020 will guide us into another great summer in 2021. We will continue to stay informed and engaged with the work of the New Hampshire Department of Children and Families and the American Camp Association to ensure best practices with regards to staying safe as we move through the developing phases of the COVID-19 pandemic. We anticipate that we will continue to practice the wearing of masks, physical distancing, smaller group sizes, enhanced sanitizing protocols, and all other recommended health and safety guidelines. As we learn more from working closely with partners in public health, childcare, and camping, we will continue to keep our camp community updated.
