10th Birthday Giveaway: Wayfair!
Ever since working with my friend Paige Lewin on our living space redesign, I’ve developed a new appreciation for the importance of a home that truly feels like your home. Personally, a big part of this journey has been embracing the fact that making your home yours is an ongoing, evolving process, and it can be a super fun one! It’s all about keeping an eye out for lovely pieces that actually speak to you -- snagging epic bargains is awesome but I’m also now willing to invest in key pieces. Because seriously, if that ratty old bookcase I bought in college could (begrudgingly!) stick with me for 20 years, then a well-made piece of furniture or home decor will for sure give you lots of years of service. And bring so much more joy too!
I’m thrilled to be kicking off the first Boston Mamas 10th birthday giveaway with Wayfair! Wayfair is headquartered in Boston and I first met them in person at last year’s Heart Home conference. Wayfair does, in fact, have a zillion things for home, but since I’m all about spending as much time as possible outdoors right now, I wanted to share some cool outdoor picks I have my eye on:
1) In general, I stick to neutral furniture and add pops of color with accessories, such as these cheerful outdoor dining cushions. 2) Oh my word this fluted round pot planter would be gorgeous inside or out -- I want a fleet of them! 3) Eating outdoors is less stressful with melamine plates -- these translucent coral dinner plates are super affordable and also come in teal. 4) I love the simple look of this tall modern bird bath. It has a natural look but it’s gold -- perfect for merging Jon and my styles! 5) Add color by day (hey, they coordinate with the seat cushions I picked!) and twinkling light at night with these hanging solar lanterns. 6) Summer lawn games = awesome and we’re huge fans of summer cornhole!
