15 Strawberry Festivals In Massachusetts
Strawberry season never fails to make me smile because its arrival always means that summer has (finally!) started in New England. Every time I spy a box of plump, red, delicious farm fresh strawberries, they immediately conjure up beach vibes, picnic playdate daydreams, and images of cute kid faces covered in berry goodness.
This year, we have a roundup of 15 local strawberry festivals for you. With pick-your-own fields, shortcake eating contests, strawberry cocktails, free pony rides, strawberry selfies, lots of live entertainment, and so much more, there’s sure to be something for everyone. 1. Verrill Farm (Concord)
Attend a Strawberry Cocktail Party at Verrill Farm to celebrate summer’s start. Listen to live piano and enjoy gorgeous views while partaking in a selection of drinks, appetizers and desserts, and farm fresh strawberries!

2. Aptucxet Museum (Bourne)
The Aptucxet Museum’s Annual Strawberry Festival features strawberry shortcakes made with homemade biscuits and freshly whipped cream plus a craft show and plant sale. Admission is free and this year also offers rides on a 6-horse pedal-powered carousel created by a local artist with hand carved and painted horses.
3. C.N. Smith Farm (East Bridgewater)
Pick Your Own Strawberries at C.N. Smith Farm’s Strawberry Festival. While you’re there, be sure to enjoy their strawberry shortcake, strawberry preserves, and fresh strawberry donuts.
4. Marini Farm (Ipswich)
Enjoy a full day of family fun and outdoor activities at Marini Farm’s Strawberry Festival. The festivities include free pony rides, inflatables, hayrides, games, and of course, fresh strawberry shortcake. (Ipswich)

Smolak Farms hosts its annual Strawberry Festival and this year’s lineup of fun kids’ activities includes a bouncy house, super slide, cow train, face painting, hayrides, animals, and more. They’ll also offer a plethora of strawberry treats like sundaes, sorbets, pies, and shortcake. And of course, the pick-your-own field will be open.
7. Strawberry ‘N Arts (Westford)
